Falconcloud Featured in SafetyDetectives Article on Cloud Security

Falconcloud has been featured in a SafetyDetectives expert article dedicated to cloud security and the responsibility companies take on when building and managing cloud infrastructure.
SafetyDetectives is an international publication covering cybersecurity, privacy, and technology.
Nikolai Lushnikov, General Director at Falconcloud, shared his view on how data residency and data sovereignty influence cloud security strategies for global organizations. “For global companies, data residency and sovereignty are no longer secondary legal details. They shape the way cloud infrastructure is planned and secured from the start. A company needs to understand not only where its data is stored, but also which jurisdiction applies to it and who may have the legal right to request access. This is especially relevant for companies working with personal, financial, or other sensitive data. In the UAE, local rules and industry requirements can influence where data is stored, how backups are organized, and how cross-border data transfers are managed. Because of this, data residency should be considered early, at the infrastructure planning stage.”
Falconcloud highlights that cloud security is not limited to technical protection tools. For companies operating internationally, secure infrastructure also depends on clear data governance, regional separation, encryption, role-based access control, and transparent provider policies.
