DataSpace is the first Russian data center certified by Uptime Institute as Tier lll Gold center. The data center has been operating for more than 6 years.

The data center is situated in Moscow at 11 Sharikopodshipnikovskaya St., bldg. 9.

Hardware

For vStack-based infrastructure, we use Intel R2224WFTZSR server systems equipped with:

  • Intel Xeon Gold 6248R processors (3 GHz);
  • Micron DDR4 RAM (2933 MHz);
  • Kingston DC500 SSD drives.

For VMware-based infrastructure, we use Cisco UCS B200 M5 blade servers that include:

  • Intel Xeon Gold 6248R processors (3 GHz);
  • DDR4 RAM (2,666 MHz);
  • NetApp AFF-A300 storage systems with SSD drives.

Power supply

  • DC peak power supply capacity – 9.5 MW;
  • 6 independent transformers, 2 MVA each;
  • Independent N+1 electric circuit;
  • Independent diesel generator set for each circuit in accordance with N+1 pattern.

Ventilation and cooling system

  • Two circuits: inner water circuit and outer circuit with the ethylene glycol mixture;
  • Chillers and dry coil air-cooling units redundant according to the N+1 pattern;
  • All elements of the system can be disconnected and isolated with no need to reduce the required cooling capacity.

Fire extinguishing system

  • The data center uses high sensitivity smoke detection system VESDA;
  • Staff premises equipped with water fire extinguishing system;
  • 2-hour fire resistance protection for walls, floors, and ceilings;
  • Equipment rooms and premises with crucial components are equipped with the most modern fire extinguishing system NOVEC 1230 safe for humans and electronics.

Security

  • Security alarm with infrared sensors;
  • Anchored fence;
  • High turnstiles;
