Migrating Projects to Alternative Clusters

We understand that the temporary unavailability of the European segment has disrupted your workflows over the past 24 hours, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Below you'll find the information needed to promptly migrate your projects to backup locations.
What's happening in Amsterdam
The Amsterdam data center is currently unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. We're doing everything we can to clarify the situation, but there's still no estimated timeline, and we don't expect a quick resolution. For this reason, we recommend not waiting and migrating to another Falconcloud location right away — and we'll help you do it. If there's any news about Amsterdam, you'll be the first to know.
How we'll help
We'll credit your Falconcloud account balance with an amount sufficient to cover one month of running equivalent servers in the new location. To request this, please open a support ticket. Due to the high volume of requests, response times are currently longer than usual, but we will respond to everyone.
Where to keep working
| Location | Data Center | What it offers | Ideal for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Almaty | Kazteleport | Standard, High Performance, and VMware servers | Kazakhstan and Central Asia; for those who need powerful servers, like the ones in Amsterdam |
| Tashkent | East Telecom | Standard servers | Projects in Uzbekistan |
| Dubai | Equinix DX1 | Standard and VMware servers | Middle East and Asia |
| New Jersey | NNJ3 | Standard servers | USA and international projects |
| São Paulo | Equinix SP3 | Standard servers | Latin America |
Why prices vary between locations
We understand that when migrating, it's natural to want to compare costs. That's why we're explaining where the difference comes from:
- High Performance servers use newer processors with fast memory, which is why they cost more;
- with VMware, licensing costs make this option more expensive than standard cloud servers;
- connectivity costs depend on the region: currently, the most expensive internet is in the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, so traffic in these locations costs more and the amount of included free bandwidth is lower;
- prices in local currencies depend on exchange rates and taxes.
If the cost in the new location ends up higher than it was in Amsterdam, get in touch with us: we'll cover the difference for the first month.
How to choose the best location for your project
To make server creation as easy as possible, the Falconcloud control panel offers pre-configured plans designed for different use cases. You'll find them under the "Fixed Plans" tab on the server creation screen. After selecting a fixed configuration, you can manually adjust it in the calculator.
Use these plans if you're unsure which configuration is ideal for your project:

Thank you for staying with Falconcloud, even in such a difficult time. We'll do everything we can to make the migration as smooth as possible. If anything goes wrong, just write to us and we'll help.
